said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home De- partment, If he can state when it is his intention to introduce his Bill with reference to the subject of Turnpike Tolls?

MR. GATHORNE HARDY

said, in reply, that he had not promised to bring in a Bill on the subject, but only to consider whether he should do so. The Bill was in the hands of the draughtsman; but he was not prepared to say at present whether he would introduce it.
