MR. PIM

said, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland, When he expects to introduce the Bill for the extension to Ireland of the facilities which are afforded to England and Scotland by the Local Government (England) Act, 1858, and the General Police and Improvement (Scotland) Act, 1862?

THE EARL OF MAYO

, in reply, said, the Bill referred to by the hon. Member was ready but; it wholly depended on the course of business whether he should feel it his duty to introduce it or not.
