§ MR. STEPHEN CAVEsaid, in reply, that the Papers referred to by the hon. Member had long been ready, and might have been distributed some time ago; but it had been thought prudent to delay issuing them in consequence of some important Correspondence with the French Government on the subject, which would render the information more complete. As soon as this additional matter was ready—which he hoped would be at no distant date—no time should be lost in placing the whole in the hands of Members.
