said, he wished to ask the Vice President of the Council, Whether it is his intention to bring in a Bill during the present Session to regulate the importation of Foreign Cattle, carrying out the statement made by the Lord President to a deputation from the Home Cattle Defence Association?


Sir, the Lord President has given great attention to the clauses of this Bill, and it is his intention that the Bill shall be laid upon the table without delay, so that it may be in the hands of hon. Members, and the Committee to which it will be referred may be appointed before the adjournment.
