§ SIR STAFFORD NORTHCOTEThe only answer, Sir, I can give to the question of the hon. and learned Gentleman is that at present no portion of the booty has as yet been distributed, but I believe that there is every reason to suppose that it will be distributed very speedily. It is impossible to distribute any portion of the booty until the names of all the claimants entitled to participate in it have been sent in. I have every reason to believe that the list will be speedily completed, when the distribution will take place as rapidly as possible. This answer is applicable also to the booty payable to the Central India Field Force.
