HC Deb 26 March 1867 vol 186 c562
MR. LOCKE

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether Her Majesty's Government intend to bring in a Bill, or take other means to reform the constitution of the Royal Court of Jersey, conformably to the suggestions of the Lords of the Committee of the Privy Council for the affairs of Jersey and Guernsey, as set forth in the Order in Council of the 3rd of February 1866?

MR. WALPOLE

replied, that Her Majesty's Government had no intention of bringing in a Bill upon that subject, and he did not see how they could take any other step for the reform of the Court.
