§ SIR ROBERT ANSTRUTHERsaid, he would beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce a Bill for the Reform of the Representation in Scotland in the present Session; and, if so, when the Bill will be laid upon the table; and whether the Bill will include any additions to the representatives of that part of the kingdom?
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERYes, Sir, it is our intention after the holydays to introduce a Bill for the Reform of the Representation of the People in Scotland, and we do contemplate an increase of its representatives.
