MR. HUNT

said, he moved to strike out the proviso appended at the instance of the hon. Member for Southwark (Mr. Layard) to the Vote for the new building to be erected at the back of Burlington House for the London University—namely, that no part of the money should be expended in carrying out either of the plans which had been exhibited in the Library. The hon. Member had agreed to the Motion.
