§ SIR COLMAN O'LOGHLENasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, with respect to the inspection of weights and measures in that part of the metropolitan district which is outside the limits of the jurisdiction of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Whether he has received the Opinion of the Law Officers on the case which he promised to lay before them; and whether he does not consider that legislation will be necessary under the circumstances?
LORD NAASsaid, it was the opinion of the Law Officers that legislation on this subject was necessary, and therefore a short Bill would be introduced.
