HC Deb 15 July 1867 vol 188 c1517
MR. GREGORY

said, he wished to ask the Vice President of the Council, Whether the new arrangements of the Museum of Irish Industry are concluded, and what is the nature of those arrangements, so far as they relate to the government of that institution?

LORD ROBERT MONTAGU

said, in reply, that the arrangements were those which were recommended by Lord Rosse's Commission (the Report of which Commission was approved of by the Lord Lieutenant and by the Treasury), with this exception—that Sir Robert Kane had been appointed permanent Dean of Faculty instead of being a Chairman in rotation, as recommended.
