§ LORD ROBERT MONTAGUsaid, in reply, that the arrangements were those which were recommended by Lord Rosse's Commission (the Report of which Commission was approved of by the Lord Lieutenant and by the Treasury), with this exception—that Sir Robert Kane had been appointed permanent Dean of Faculty instead of being a Chairman in rotation, as recommended.
