§ MR. GUINNESSsaid, he would beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade, If his attention has been directed to the particulars of certain charges made to the Local Marine Board of Liverpool on 584 the 18th of December last against Captain Gordon Deslandes, of the ship Anne, for gross drunkenness while in charge of the said ship?
§ SIR STAFFORD NORTHCOTEreplied, that the attention of the Board of Trade had been called to the fact by the Local Marine Board of Liverpool, but it rested with the Local Marine Board to decide. There had been a correspondence between them and the Board of Trade, and he should have no objection to the production of those papers.
