GENERAL PEELSir, the Army Estimates which I have just laid upon the table are only the usual and ordinary Estimates, and they do not include any provision to carry out the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Recruiting and the Army Reserve. Separate Estimates will be laid upon the table for those purposes. I intend, when the Estimates are moved, to call the attention of the House to the Report of the Royal Commission on Recruiting and the Army Reserve, and to explain the measures which Her Majesty's Government propose to take in order to carry out the recommendations of that Commission.
