HC Deb 30 April 1867 vol 186 cc1786-7
LORD DUNKELLIN

said, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General for Ireland, Whether, with regard to the vacant Mastership of the Court of Exchequer, it be intended to adopt the recommendation of the Royal Commission on the Courts of Com- mon Law and Equity, who in their Second Report stated that one Master was sufficient for the three Law Courts?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. CHATTERTON)

said, in reply, that the subject was under the consideration of the Government, but no definite conclusion had been finally arrived at; he hoped, however, in a short time to be better prepared to answer the question.
