§ MR. LAWSONsaid, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether, having regard to the Second Report of the Irish Law and Equity Commissioners, it is the intention of the Government to fill the vacancy in the office of Master of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland?
Lord NAASreplied, that he had not heard that there was any vacancy in the office of the Master of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland. In fact, he rather believed there was no such vacancy. Of course, if such a vacancy should occur it would be for the Government to consider whether it should be filled up or not.
