said, he rose to ask the Secretary of State for War, What Reports have been made by Commanding Officers of Regiments to whom Merritt's Ventilating Gussets were issued with the regimental clothing in 1864, and whether he will lay them upon the table of the House?

THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTON

said, in reply, that those articles were issued during the last year for trial to six regiments The Reports with regard to them would not be received till after the 31st of the present month. There would be no objection to laying the Reports on the table.
