HC Deb 02 March 1866 vol 181 c1394
MR. BANKS STANHOPE

said, he wished to ask a Question with reference to the Cattle Plague. He desired to know, If in future sufficient time will be given for the Returns to be sent in, so that they might get them with something like accuracy?

MR. H. A. BRUCE

said, in reply, that as the object of the Returns was to give accurate information of the progress of the disease, it would be far better to delay them even for a week than to present them in their present incomplete form. He would endeavour to secure greater accuracy and completeness.
