LORD PROBY (COMPTROLLER OF THE HOUSEHOLD)

reported Her Majesty's Answer to Address [June 8], as follows:—

"I have received the joint Address of the two Houses of Parliament in reference to the Report made by the Select Committee of the House of Commons appointed to try a Petition complaining of an undue Election and Return for the Borough of Lancaster:—And I have given directions accordingly for the appointment of the Gentlemen named in the Address to be Commissioners for the purpose of making the Inquiry prayed for."

Then HER MAJESTY'S ANSWER to AD-DRESSES on Great Yarmouth Election, Reigate Election, Totnes Election, reported.
