GENERAL PEELsaid, in reply, that no measures had as yet been agreed upon with the Treasury with reference to the proposed addition to the annual retiring allowances of the Royal Artillery and Engineers. The proposition from the Treasury was of such a nature as to necessitate further correspondence with the Horse Guards.
