HC Deb 23 July 1866 vol 184 c1283
MR. CRAUFURD

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether, considering the late period of the Session, he does not consider it advisable to postpone the further consideration of the Writs Registration (Scotland) Bill to another year?

MR. WALPOLE

replied that if the late Lord Advocate did not undertake to proceed with the Bill he (Mr. Walpole) should consider it his duty next Session to introduce a Bill of a similar character.
