§ MR. DYCE NICOLsaid, he wished to ask the First Commissioner of Works, Whether his attention has been directed to the present state of the roads in the Public Parks; and whether the repairs cannot be made in a less inconvenient manner?
§ LORD JOHN MANNERSMy attention, Sir, has been called to the state of the roads in the Public Parks, and I find that they are being repaired in the same manner they always have been repaired before. I am, however, now making inquiries into the system in force in Paris, of levelling the granite by means of a steam roller, with the view of seeing whether it can be adopted in the Royal Parks.
