said, he wished to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education, Whether it is the intention of Government to make any relaxation of the Order in Council which now compels all cattle coming from abroad to be slaughtered within four days after their landing in this country?

MR. CORRY

said, in reply, that at a meeting of the Committee of Privy Council which was held yesterday it was decided not to relax the Order in Council at present.
