Sir, I think it will be convenient to the House if I mention that on going into Committee of Supply on Monday I propose to make a short statement, showing the additional charge upon the Exchequer since the general Financial Statement made by the right hon. Gentleman (Mr. Gladstone), and what course we intend to follow in consequence.
