acquainted the House, that he had this day received a Letter from John C. Thierens and John Beer, informing him that it is not their intention to proceed with their Petition complaining of an undue Election and Return for the Borough of Devonport:—Letter read as follows:— Devonport, June 30th, 1866. Sir,In the matter of our Petition delivered in on the 5th of June instant, complaining of an undue Election and Return for the Borough of Devonport, we beg to inform you that it is not our intention to proceed with the same.We have the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient Servants,
