§ Mr. SPEAKER acquainted the House, that his Warrant for the appointment of Members to serve on the General Committee of Elections was upon the Table:— Warrant read, as followeth:—
§ Pursuant to the provisions of "The Elections Act, 1848," I do hereby appoint—The Right honourable Spencer Horatio Walpole, Member for the University of Cambridge; John Bonham-Carter, esquire, Member for the City of Winchester; George Ward Hunt, esquire, Member for the 880 Northern Division of the County of Northampton; The Right honourable Henry Thomas Lowry Corry, Member for the County of Tyrone; Samuel Whitbread, esquire, Member for the Borough of Bedford; and James Clay, esquire, Member for the Town of Kingston upon Hull; to be Members of the General Committee of Elections for the present Session.
