VILLIERSIn answer to the inquiry of the noble Lord, I beg to say that it is my intention to introduce a measure for more effectually securing the execution of the laws relating to the relief of the poor in the metropolis, and that this measure will be substantially based on the Report of the Select Committee appointed by the last Parliament to inquire into this matter.
