HC Deb 10 August 1866 vol 184 c2166

Answer to Address [15th June], reported, as follows:—

I have received your Address praying that I will cause to be placed within the precincts of the House of Commons a Bust, offered by his widow, of the late Joseph Hume, esquire, who for nearly forty years ably, laboriously, and disinterestedly served his Country in the House of Commons.

And I will give directions to My First Commissioner of Works and Public Buildings to consider in what part of the precincts of the House of Commons such Bust may most appropriately be placed.
