HC Deb 07 August 1866 vol 184 c2135
MR. OLIPHANT

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether the diplomatic agents in South America have made any reports on the various schemes which are understood to be in progress for curing meat for the British Market; and if such reports have been made, whether copies of the same will be laid before Parliament?

LORD STANLEY

I have, Sir, one report from Buenos Ayres, which was no doubt written with the intention that it should be made public. I shall have no objection to lay it, or any other similar report which I may receive, on the table.
