HC Deb 07 August 1866 vol 184 cc2151-2
MR. COWPER,

in moving that the Lords' Amendments to this Bill be considered and agreed to, said, that the effect of them would be to limit the operation of the measure to the metropolis. He regretted this, as he thought that it might usefully have been introduced to all parts of the kingdom.

Lords Amendments to be considered forthwith.

Lords Amendments considered, and agreed to, and several consequential Amendments made to the Bill.
