HC Deb 03 March 1865 vol 177 c1043
LORD HOTHAM

said, he would beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War, Whether he will undertake to present the Annual Report of the Military Reserve Fund in sufficient time to allow of its being examined and considered by Members before he moves the Army Estimates in Committee of Supply?

THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTON

replied, that the Report of the Military Re-servo Fund extended over transactions which had taken place in the financial year beginning April I and ending March 31. The Report, therefore, could not be printed until the conclusion of the year, and he feared it would not be ready for presentation to the House till three weeks or a month after the conclusion of the financial year—that was to say, about the end of April.
