§ MR. CHARLES FORSTERsaid, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General, What course he proposed to take respecting the Forfeiture for Treason and Felony Bill?
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL,in reply, said it would be impossible to proceed with the Bill during the present Session. He was anxious to give effect to the engagements which he had entered into on the subject last year, but the difficulties experienced with regard to the working 446 machinery of the Bill had been found too great, and it was now too late in the Session to overcome them.
