§ MR. WALTERasked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether he has any objection to lay on the table of the House a Return showing the number of houses at present standing on the site proposed to be taken by the Government for the erection of the new Courts of Law, and also the amount of the Population residing in those Houses?
MR. COWPERsaid, there would be no difficulty in furnishing a Return specifying the number of houses on the site in ques- 209 tion, but he could not at present state whether the information required with respect to the number of the population could be given. Whatever information could be obtained on the subject he should be happy to lay on the table of the House.
