§ VISCOUNT PALMERSTONI believe it is well known, that that valuable and deserving public servant Sir Rowland Hill is about to retire from his situation at the Post Office. He is entitled to a pension, which in the usual course would lapse at his death; and I now, therefore, move that this House shall, on Monday next, resolve itself into a Committee, for the purpose of considering the grant of a pension to Lady Hill for her lifetime, in the event of her surviving her husband.
