HC Deb 26 February 1864 vol 173 cc1183-4
COLONEL WILSON PATTEN

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether it is his intention to introduce any Bill during the present Session to amend the Highways Act passed during the last Session of Parliament?

SIR GEORGE GREY

, in reply, said, his hon. and gallant Friend was probably not aware that he had already stated, a few nights ago, in answer to a similar question, that he hoped to introduce a Bill on the subject. A memorial bearing on the subject had, however, reached his hands, and he wished to consider this before bringing in the measure.
