moved that "a Select Committee be appointed to inquire into and report upon the Basin and Dock Accommodation of the Royal Dockyards in the United Kingdom."

MR. WALPOLE

said, it was the established custom to give notice to the Members who were to serve on a Committee before they were nominated.
