said, he wished to ask the First Commissioner of Works, Why the bas-reliefs intended to be placed on the base of the statue of Richard Coeur de Lion in Palace Yard have not been so placed; and whether he will communicate with Baron Marochetti, and have them done at an early period?

MR. COWPER

replied, that the sculptor had been asked to furnish designs, but the matter was still under consideration.
