, who had a Question on this subject on the Paper, gave notice that on this day week he would bring before the House the whole circumstances connected with the death of Sergeant-Major Lilley.

CAPTAIN NARCHDALL

said, he wished to ask whether a Memorandum sent out to India by His Royal Highness the Commander-in-Chief relating to this case will be laid on the table.

THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTON

was understood to say that the Memorandum was to be moved for by another hon. Member, and he would make inquiries at the Horse Guards whether there would be any objection to lay it on the table.
