MR. CHICHESTER FORTESCUE

said, that the delay in producing these Papers was owing to the pressure of business in the Colonial Office and in the printer's office. They were now in the hands of the printer, and he hoped to be able to lay them before the House very shortly. The Government were in expectation of receiving some further information from Sierra Leone respecting the case, but had not yet received it.
