said, he wished to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether Her Majesty's Government have received any Despatches or Communications relative to the present condition of Southern Italy; and, whether there is any objection to lay them upon the table of the House?

MR. LAYARD

, in reply, said, that Despatches were, of course, received regularly from the Consul General at Naples by the Government, but they had no intention of laying any of them upon the table of the House.
