HC Deb 01 June 1863 vol 171 c245
SIR JOHN HAY

said, he wished to move for leave to bring in a Bill to facilitate the distribution of prize money, bounties, &c., to the navy.

LORD CLARENCE PAGET

said, he should not oppose the Motion, at the same time he wished to mention that a Bill was being prepared by the Admiralty dealing with the subjects of naval prize courts and prize money. He hoped that the hon. and gallant Admiral would not ask the House to read his Bill a second time, until that measure had been introduced. Bill for facilitating the distribution of Prize Money, Bounties, and other such Monies, to the Navy, ordered to be brought in by Sir JOHN HAT, Admiral DUNCOMBE, and Sir JAMES ELPHINSTONE.

Bill presented, and read 1o. [Bill 147]

House adjourned at a quarter before Two o'clock.
