§ MR. LYALLsaid, he wished to ask the Vice 1360 President of the Committee of Council on Education, Whether it is the intention of the Government to grant any Charter of Incorporation to the Borough of Reigate; and if so, what reasons have induced them to come to that determination?
§ MR LOWEsaid, in reply, that he had no official knowledge on the subject, but he believed that it was the intention of the President of the Council to advise the Crown to grant a Charter of Incorporation to the Borough of Reigate, and the reason for that measure was contained in the Report of the Officer who was sent down to the place to make inquiries on the subject.
