On Motion of Mr. PEEL, Resolved,
That the Contract for the conveyance of the American Mails from Galway with the Atlantic Royal Mail Steam Navigation Company be approved.—(Mr. Peel.)
§ MR. DILLWYNsaid, he wished to know whether Galway was to be the port of departure for the mail packets, or merely a port of call.
MR. PEELsaid, that in that respect the terms of the present contract were exactly the same as those of the contract of 1859. Galway was to be the port of departure.
