MR. LONGFIELD moved the insertion of words extending the operation of the Bill to executions out of the superior courts.

Amendment proposed, in line 8, after the word "execution," to insert the words "from a superior court, or".—(Mr. Longfield.)

Question proposed, "That those words be there inserted."

MR. O'HAGAN (Attorney General for Ireland)

opposed the Amendment, which was supported by Mr. WHITESIDE and Mr. M'MAHON.

Whereupon Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Chairman do report Progress, and ask leave to sit again."—(Mr. Sclater-Booth.)
