said, he would beg to ask the President of the Poor Law Board, Whether he will postpone the Second Reading of the Union Relief Aid Acts Continuance Bill till after the interview which he has promised to give on Wednesday next to a deputation from the Magistrates of the Counties most interested in the question involved in the Bill?

said, he would consent to postpone the second reading of the Bill until after he had received a deputation alluded to by the hon. Member. At the same time, however, he must state that the responsibility of delaying the progress of the Bill would attach to the hon. Gentleman.
