§ SIR CHARLES WOODsaid, in reply, that the hon. and gallant Member must be aware that those funds were under the management of individuals who were Members of a Committee and of the Service. The Government of India were not responsible for their management. If, however, the funds were handed over to them, the Government would of course be responsible.
