§ MR. HENNESSYsaid, he wished to know, Whether a Despatch has been received at the Foreign Office from Her Majesty's Representative at Berlin with reference to a certain Convention said to have been concluded between Russia and Prussia with respect to the insurrection in Poland; and, if so, whether there will be any objection to lay it on the table of the House?
§ MR. LAYARDsaid, in reply, that he was afraid the Government could not lay that Despatch upon the table. It did not contain a copy of the Convention, but only hearsay evidence with respect to it.
