§ SIR JOHN TRELAWNYsaid, he rose to ask leave to introduce a Bill to allow certain persons to make affirmation in all cases where an oath was or should be required. He would only state that the Bill was substantially the same as the one of last Session, and which proposed to apply to this country the law in force in India.
