HC Deb 16 April 1863 vol 170 cc197-8
THE LORD MAYOR (Mr. Alderman ROSE)

said, he wished to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty, If he will lay upon the table of the House the Evidence of the Admiralty Committee on Masters, Royal Navy?

LORD CLARENCE PAGET

replied, that the Committee which sat on the subject of the Masters of the Royal Navy was a mere departmental Committee, and that it was not usual and would be very inconvenient that he should lay upon the table their Report. But he could state that an Order in Council was about to be issued which he trusted would be satisfactory to that distinguished body of officers.
