GENERAL PEELsaid, he rose to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether he will undertake that the audited accounts of the Military Expenditure of 1860–1 will be laid on the table of the House in time to be printed and in the hands of Members previous to the discussion which is to take place next week, with reference to the public expenditure? By Act of Parliament it was provided that these accounts should be laid on the table previous to the 1st of June.
