SEYMOUR FITZGERALDsaid, he rose to ask Her Majesty's Government, Whether they have received from Her Majesty's Minister at Washington a copy of the Report of the Committee of the House of Representatives of the United States on the operation of the Reciprocity Treaties with Canada; and whether, if such a Report has been received, there is any objection to lay it upon the table of the House?
§ MR. LAYARDsaid, the Report referred to by the hon. Gentleman was presented to the Congress at Washington. Her Majesty's Government had received a printed copy of the Report, and there would be no objection to lay it upon the table.
