§ SIR JOHN TROLLOPEexpressed a hope that the right hon. President of the Poor Law Board would fix some other day than Tuesday next for the Committee on the Poor Law Assessments Bill, inasmuch as many of the country Gentlemen would on that day be attending the Quarter Sessions.
§ MR. C. P. VILLIERSsaid, that it was the intention of the Government to proceed with this Bill at a morning sitting; but as hon. Gentlemen would be engaged at the Sessions next week, he would defer the sitting to a later period.
